April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month, when Parkinson’s organizations around the world draw attention to Parkinson’s disease. Parkinson’s is a progressive brain disease for which there is no cure. Over 100,000 Canadians and over 6 million people worldwide have Parkinson’s. Since 1965, Parkinson Society Canada, 10 regional partners, 240 chapters and support groups have been dedicated to providing support, education, research and advocacy on behalf of Canadians with Parkinson’s.
Across Canada, Parkinson Awareness Month activities will include Parkinson tulip sales.
